Is there a way of adding a jpg file to my drawing.

To insert a jpeg, gif , or tiff image into Pro/Detail follow these steps:

Select #Insert (pull down menu), #Object, #Create From File, #Browse - browse to the jpeg, gif, or tiff image you wish to place into the drawing.

The only thing about this (and there is no way around it that I know of) is you can't turn around and make a tif file of your drawing with the inserted object.
