Intralink 3.3 with Pro/E 2001

Hi

We're looking to upgrade our Intralink from 3.0 to 3.3 but keep with Pro/E 2001 for now.

We'll probably go to Pro/E 2001 build 2003161 with Intralink 3.3 2002470.

Anybody got any experience with the Intralink 3.3 / Pro/E 2001 combination?

Also - any additional tips for the Ilink 3.0 - 3.3 upgrade?

So far I've got this:

- create backups & dumps

- migrate data to Ilink 3.2

- uninstall dataserver

- install 3.3

Thanks

Ed

No replies - but we went successfully to Pro/E 2001 2003161 with Ilink 3.0

Next step is the Ilink upgrade. Testing soon. Seems to be pretty well documented on PTC KDB & elsewhere.

Let me know how the 3.3 upgrade goes, I'm fixing to try the same on another server I have that is at 3.2 now. I'll have two seperate servers - both with 3.3 and wildfire. I tested a batch file earlier in the year so I could have two seperate .pro locations, so as to not get the data between the two servers mixed up.

Why did you go to Pro/E 2001 build 2003161? Just curious because we are looking at going to 2001. I just got build 2003280.

We are in the middle of upgrading to Intralink 3.3 with Pro/E 2001 build 2003320. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ptc actually suggest using Pro/Intralink 3.3 and the latest build of Pro/E 2001 together, from what I heard.

Hi guys....

We are running Ilink 3.3 with 2001 build 2003280 and it runs pretty well.

We don

Hi,

We've done all you talk. Upgrade Pro/E 2000i to 2001 then install Intralink 3.2, upgrade Pro/E in the next version, upgrade Intralink to 3.3 and Pro/E to Wildfire without any problem. It runs well.

Upgrade Intralink 3.2 to 3.3 was done in three hours. You must follow a procedure. If you want more explication, let me know it, I'll send it to you.
