Intralink 3.1 Import Errors

Just installed Intralink 3.1. My first attempt to import Pro/e data into a workspace window resulted in: Import/Export Error. The only way I have been able to get new data into workspace is to retrieve the files with pro/e session and save to workspace.



Anyone have a cause/solution for this one?

First - check the folder names - Intralink often doesn't like importing files from folders with spaces in their names.



Also check if there are any family tables in the files - make sure all instances are verified.



There are sometimes errors with the Intralink import/export file (mdimpex.exe) - I've heard people suggest updating the version of this file.

Reinstall of Intralink fixed the problem.
