Interference

Hello to everybody.
I am a mech Engineer. I work in Italy in a mech factory.
I use Pro-E since 2001 but I am new in Pro/mechanism.
I have this simple question. I have an assembly with two parts. There is interference between the two parts; each part rotate around its axis.
Is it possible to make a boolean operation during the rotation?
In other words remove the interference in one of the two parts.
I am looking for this topic in the forum but I didn't find anything.
Thanks in advance

Hello Alex

yes, this should be possible, but not in direct way. It requires a little work around, as following:

First - you must prepare all your mechanism settings and launch animation of it.

In animation window, you can save the volume of movement as Motion Envelope.

This at the end is a geometry you can use further in assembly on in part according to your needs.

other way,
create a plane throught axis of rotation of both parts.
create revolve cut in the part you want to cut using axis as axis of revolution of other part.use interference section at any perticular position as sketch for cut.
