importing

I recently imported a 3D IGES part that was an assembly. Went through the proper procedure. Problem is that I can't make it a Qlt. I tried to to Qlt. it, but it said that it can't intersect the feature. The only way I can make it look correct is to change the enity colors to hidden or geometry, but this is only temporary. How can make this part a Qlt.? I'm running Pro-E 2001.

what color are the edges?

The color is showing to be blue.

if there are no yellow edges then you should be able to convert it to a solid.


I havent used 2001 in ages but I think its create>protrusion>from quilt or something like that.

Redefine the import feature and choose attributes, check "make solid".

If have yollow eges inside. You must fix the Qlt.


You can take "Info-->Geometry Check" check the Qlt. If have any problem,take "Redefine(Import feature)
