importing 3d information from Autocad

i have a problem where i receive initial information of a product in autocad 3D drawing format and i have trouble exporting to any proe readable file so that i can ensure that the geometry of this product suits my design... there are not much option in file>export in autocad... there are stl, eps, dxx and 3ds files... anyone have any idea how this can be done??


i'm using proe2001 and autocad2002...

Pro/E can import .STL files. Have you tried .STL?

i've tried using STL, but it's only surfaces when imported to proe... i've got another way by importing though sat files.. works just fine..
