Import Windchill PDMlink

I am starting on Windchill and have Admin Priveleges at the company. I would like to import a .plt file into my workspace (part is residing in my local machine). But when i do that thru Windchill Tools -> Import to Workspace i am not able to find the file. Even "All Files" option does not seem to show it. How to i add.plt file to the list of files in Windchill?
 
Being a plot (.plt) file you need to import it into 'common' space.


If you get it to your workspace, what do you plan on doing with it there?
