i have a comlex part that i need to insert from acad to proe sketcher so i can extrude it and use it in an assembly. how do i insert to sketcher.

Tex, as you said its a COMPLEX part. i do't think it will be a good idea to bring complete setch in one go. as you will get lot of week dimensions and week constraints. if possible, break the sketch into small and simple features and then bring it into pro/e/

Texas,

The better way to do this is:

Save the Acad file as DXF, and move it to the 0,0
position in Acad.
Start a new part in Pro E.
Insert Data, from file
select the DXF and inport it onto your standard coord
system.
Than start a new sketch and use the edges from the DXF
as references or select the tool, Sketch, Edge, Use
as loop.

I hope I explained it good.
