hello all,

im working new with ProE2001.

im converting an IGES imported part to 2D but was not able to hide the wireframe edges.

is there any way to hide this line if the part was imported with wireframe edges?

thanks and best regards

buddy

Redefine the imported IGES and choose Make Solid under the attributes menu. If Pro/E cannot make it solid, you will have to Heal Geometry in an attempt to join mismatched surfaces.

Can you explain a little more? Is the IGES file 2D or 3D? How will youconvert it to 2D?

If I understand you correctly, you would like to remove or hide some or all the wireframe edges of the import. There are a couple of things you can do:

1) Redefine the import, select heal geometry then delete, uncheck everything except Curve then select the individual lines you want to remove.

2) put the whole import feature on a layer, copy the surfaces or curves you wish to reference & blank the layer.
