Huge amount of datum planes

AS FA AS IAM CONCERNED ,THE BEST THING IS TO CONTROL THE PLANES OF EACH PART BY USING THE LAYERS,

OR ELSE HIDE THE UNWANTED PLANES USING RIGHT CLICK OPTION.

yes that is right. Only layers in pro/e will give you the efficient you want to your design

colect any information you can find about using them right and start using them

A couple of tips for using planes & layers:



- Create a new layer for datums with a config.pro option:

def_layer LAYER_DATUM_PLANE planes



This will put all new datums on the layer planes



- Also - if you use templates - put the 3 default datums onto their own layer - def_dats

This allows you to turn off all the default datums seperately from the created datums - handy!
