How to increase the no.of characters in a file name

Hi all,



I have a problem in crating BOM for a big assembly created in UG.I need to convert it into pro/E assembly with the same BOM.But pro/E takes only 32 characters in the file name remaining characters are getting truncated.Is there any way

i can increase the No. of characters in the file name.

If it is only for the appearance of the BOM you can try this

convert UG assembly to Proe with the maximum characters you can

enter a parameter in each part or assembly, for example: name, and use this parameter in pro/report to enter the name you want to show in your BOM
