Is it possible togenerate a repeat region in drawing table using toolkit.I think as per the documentation there are no direct functions . If there is any other way ,please let me know.
What I've done a few times is create a table with the repeat region in it. Then do a table retrieve. You've got your table sized just right, and your handle to it.
It is very strange how do you retrieve the table,you can not get the drawing table ID (Modelitem) till you drawing contain the drawing table.There is no repear region option availbile in the Pro-Toolkit WF2.0.
If you are confident let me explain in details how your are going to create the repeat region draiwng table using Pro-Toolkit API.
I guess I did not explain myself clearly. I create the table manually using the Pro/E interface, not toolkit.I also set up the repeat region manually. Then I save the table. In Pro/Toolkit I retrieve the table using ProDwgtableRetrieve Thats where I get the handle.
I want to create repeat region through toolkit without any user interaction .If i am creating repeat region manually ,then getting the table handle is of no use.
I never found a way to do that. When I've need a table or region I've always found it best to create the table manually.Even if you just create a table, as of WF2 there was no way to control line display with toolkit. For this reason I just chose to make the table and move on. I (if I remember right, its been a couple years)also found it difficult tocombine cells.
