How to copy a rib around the walls of the cavity

Tough one.

Presumably you have a trajectory dimension or a sketch alignment to the cavity edge.

You'll need to create a separate leader and pattern for each surface loop. (ie one for each cylindrical and planar surface - that's 7 patterns in this case).

Hi there,

Maybe you could create an aproximate composite datum curve around the ope and create a pattern of Datum Points around the curve. when sketching your trajectory ref the datum point and do a ref pattern. Be careful of the refs for the sketch, try make sure the sketch can be regenerated the whole way throungh the pattern.

Don't know will it work and have no way of checking at present.

Steve.
