How to change direction of START POINT?

If this is a trajectory, click on the vertex that you want to start at, right-click and pick "start point". If the direction isn't correct, repeat the process, and the direction will reverse.

Yes, it's TRAJ. and that's what I'm doing, but quite often it doesn't work... don't know why. Then I have to select another vertex, then go back and forth few times until ProE agrees with me.
Why wouldn't they made the ARROW clickable... Wake up PTC !!!!

Not sure if this helps, but here goes...
If the trajectory is a loop, and the direction is no what i want, i'll delete one of the section's pieces (nearest the desired starting point). Then, I'll select the end point of the remaining section, and choose that to be the starting point. From there, the piece that was removed can be re-created.

I know you all probably knew all of that, and the original request was for a low click-count solution. This method _works_..., but probably doesn't fit in the low click solution category.

I thought i remembered a RMB in sketch mode to do this, but i might be wrong...

Oh well... we can hope.

Hi Marker,

Since it is a trajectory, it already have a direction (regardless of where you made the start point). for a closed loop, it is either Clockwise or counterclockwise. Changing the start point will not change that.

You should change the cutmotion "direction".

You can always flip the direction of the follow cut, but I do not see the need in this case.

You can move your cursor over the vertex, but do not select it. Then right-click to query the next possible solution. Then left-click to select it. Then right-click and select start point. But this is still 3 clicks of the mouse.

Thanks all, I guess we should hope that PTC read this. If so, MAKE THE DARN ARROW CLICKABLE!!!

That'swhat we pay big bucks for, aren't we
