I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ,HOW TO MODEL A HELICAL ,SPUR GEAR(INVOLUTE PROFILE) USING STD GEAR RELATIONS,

THE MAIN POINT IS TO DO AUTOMATION OF GEARS FOR VARIOUS INPUTS.

IF POSSIBLE MAIL ME WITH DETAIL PROCEDURES(IF POSSIBLE A MODEL) TO THE FOLLOWING ID

<DIV>Hi all,</DIV>
<DIV>Ok here's what I've got, The cadquest link is great for a very accurate involute curve but I have several dozen spur gears to update and create. The generic internal and external spline is great for pretty pictures but I need the actually involute data in the model. So does any one know of a way to create these internal and external involutes in a easy manner like a udf or am I just spitting in the wind.</DIV>
<DIV>Thanks to any and or all that help me.</DIV>

blbeach.com has a couple of pretty nice standard spur gears that you can download for free. They aren't helical gears, but it's a good start.
