frozen views

I'm running R16 with no service packs. I have lost the ability to display view frames and so am unable to move views once they are created. I can click on the view name in the tree to display properties and even though view display says that view frames are displayed, I cannot get them to appear. Any suggestions?

I was able to solve this problem by deleting the catsettings folder. Even re-installing the software won't help without taking this action.

I know caita r17 have a icon that has the function to display the view frame

I would try rite click on view and look @ properties. hope this action will help.

Thanks. I found the icon some time ago. BTW, view properties can have view frame shown or not shown and this icon will freeze the views regardless when activated.
