Formed In Assembly, Flat In Drawing

Dear All:

I have a cone shaped part that needs to be cone shaped in the assembly, but shown as a flat pattern in any drawings of it that are made. How can I do both??????

Create the cone shaped part, then create a falt pattern of it.

Bring the cone-shaped instance into your assembly, use the flat pattern in your drawing.

I may not fully understand.. I have the flat pattern made and then made simplified reps for each state and am able to bring in the cone to my assembly and install just fine, but when I close and re-open, it goes back to the flat pattern.

Create an instance to show the flat state and use the generic (cone shaped)in assembly. And show the instance in the drawing.
