Is it possible to unbend a solid model such as a wakeboard so the rocker is planar? The model is done just like the finished part and I want to machine a foam core in the flat configuration since it is much easier to machine. Since the foam is flexible, it will form back into the final rocker shape when put inside the mold.
I remember in Pro Engineer, they had a function that would take a bent solid and do a full volume bend into just about any shape you wanted and still hold the volume. I think it was called spinal bend or tweak.
