Feature names in parametrical note

I created a set of points using a datum point feature. I have to show the names of the points ina note, parametrically.Ifi change the name ofany point, the note should be updated with the new name. Is there any method todo this?

When you create the note...dims should switch automatically to their metadata counterpart nomenclature. While writing the note, replace the name of your point with &point_name...where "point_name" = the metadata name of the point...i.e. P26 or something. This will give you a parametric link to that point...if the name changes...the name will change in the note.
