Hello, I am relatively new to Pro/E and this forum. Anyway, I
have a problem that I can't figure out on my own. What I need to
do is extrude a series/pattern of shapes into the edge/circumference of
a cylindrical solid. These holes are very shallow (~6-16
nanometers), and are patterned both horizontally and vertically if you
were to look at the cylinder from the side. The problem I'm
having is when I make a datum plane and then extrude into my part from
the plane, the bottom of the "hole" doesn't follow the contour of the
radius. Is there a way I can make the design on a flat surface
and then wrap it around a circular datum curve, or what is the best way
to accomplish this?
Thanks!
