Extrude surfaces created with style-tool

Hey!

Is there any way to extrude surfaces that are created
with style - tool?
To be more exact, i am drawing a model of an archtop
guitar (guitar with curved table and back)and i want to
make f-holes into the curved surfaces but nothing
happens.
Can anybody explain me why?

Thanks in advance!

Greetings from HK!

two possibilities: 1) you have thickness to your surface or the whole guitar is solidified: extrude as normal. 2) yout sytle surface is thin, then project curves and trim surface or slect extrude surface and you can cut7trim your style surface. Hope it helps.

make your f-hole surface extend beyond both sides of the guitar surface and then merge them together.

Thanks gkc i did it with projecting curves and that worked
well!
Sorry i guess i should know that but how do i add thickness
to to the style surfaces?
