exporting/importing surfaces

hi people,

is it possible to export a surface from a prt file to an other prt file without all the references? I need to create the negative of a complicated solid allredy existing but I do not know the way. If I export the external surface of this solid I can create the second solid from this surface.

Perhaps you may use insert the external surface to do it!
