Exporting IGES in metric ?

Hi All

This has been bugging me for quite a while. I work in metric for 99.9% of things and all my config settings reflect this, as far as I know. However when I export to IGES or DXF I end up with imperial units

. The IGES_config.pro doesn't seem to have a unit selection that I can find?

Any suggestions.

Import iges, then change units with edit -setup -units

Are you really creating the IGES file in inch units OR is the import coming in as inch units?


Open the IGES file in a text editor, like wordpad, and in the header section is a piece of data that will look like 2hmm or 4hinch. That will be the units that the IGES file is created in.
