Erase Map key

Hi,

Im weird to erase one map key, I erased one mapkey that doesnt require and override the thing over config.pro. Again that mapkey is coming if i open the Proe.

is anything i am makin wrong?

awaiting for your prompt!!!

Every time you save mapkeys back to config.pro it writes all of them all over again without erasing the original entries. Do this 5 or 6 times and you have a nightmare on your hands. You are going to have to manually edit all your config.pro files with a text editor and hunt out all the extra mapkey defs.

But dont you think why the Proe is not saving the modified entries. Why should they given the option save? But if you try to modify the mapkey operation, the button changed will blink and press that button to save the modified entries to the desired location. After reloading proe, the modified entries works well and good.

Look at the mapkey dialogue box. If u modify any mapkey, the button Changed will b enabled. But if you delete the mapkey, the button changed wont enable? So how to save the mapkeys without manually editing the config.pro?

Is that a proe bug?

Is it a bug? PTC will probably tell you that is intended functionality.

Another line I heard they like to give you is that ProE doesn't crash, this is an unexpected exit.
