DXF to Datum Curve???

I am trying to export a 2 dimensional dxf file from Adobe Illustrator
and import it into Pro/E so I can make a cut with it. Does anyone
know where a good resource for these kind of tutorials might be found?

why not just use the dxf file directly?

when in sketcher mode. about to make the cut

insert--->data from object---> pick your dxf file...

then all you need to do is select the geometry

might be a little different (Working off memory.. wf2)

Or, when in part mode,

#Insert #Shared Data#Data from File... [select DXF file] and import it. You then have to specify CSYS that this imported draft will be linked to and then you can use imported geometry whenever you need to.
