Draw curve...problem..Urgent!!!!!

Hello everyone,

I am using Pro/E to draw curves from a text file.

In my text file, I have three columns (x y z). The initial starting point of my x y z are really big. Initial x = 5139140, initial y = -3555 and initial z = 485366 in meter. Flowing these initial points are numbers with small increment to it.

The problem I have is that when I draw in Pro/E, the curve appears to be very far away from the origin (0 0 0) so then when I zoom in to see my curve, the image doesn't look much appealing.

So, I am wondering if I can set my origin to be some values near my initial starting point. If so, please help me how to.

Thanks

It might be simpler to subtract your starting values from all your data. In other words, transpose it to 0, 0, 0.

You are a genuis! I was doing something like that... but could not be any simpler than this :)

Tho, can you show me how to 'mesh' the curves? I mean I have multiple curves in which they all combine should be an image of a hallway or something. Now, after having each individual curve draw out, how can I mesh/make them so they look like a one solid image?

Thanks.

what is the limit of the size of a text file that i can import into Pro/E to draw my 3D curve? Currently I have a 3MB and Pro/E says "Bad data in IBL file".
