Is there a way to change the options settings to display the exact same description or part number for a Toolbox component and the same component in Feature Manager in an assembly? I am using the Toolbox read-only components in the Solidworks data library installed locally on my PC. I realize these are design table driven parts, but the basic component names are different between FM and TB.
The settings I see will only change the display the Feature Manager or drawing BOM, but not the Toolbox. What I have to do now in the case of similar Toolbox parts like washers or hex nuts, is trial and error by inserting the part into the assembly among several choices in Toolbox to find the match the actual specs in FM .
