A quick way to find out is to highlight the dimension and right click. If only the erase option is listed and not erase and delete then it is a retrieved dimension. Another way is to double click on the dimension. If you are able to change the dimension then it is retrieved. I am using WIldfire 2 though. Not sure if this works in Wildfire 1.
