After my parts are made I have to create dxf's for the "guys out back" I noticed that there is a difference between a flat pattern of an extruded part vs. attached walls.
whats the deal with that? I match the same inside or outside radii and everything is identical....until the it's flattened...and then the fp part from the extrude is wrong! I believe pro/e's sheetmetal extrude (oh i'm using release 2001 so maybe wildfire has fixed this) doesn't understand that it's not just a radius but that the bend atcually stretches the material to allow it to bend.....when you attach walls and assign a bend table, or enter a value for the radii it does...anyone have this issue?
