. I have a brand new installation and at the moment I am the only user as well as the admin and am logged in both ways for testing purposes. Please help

You can't delete a product container once it's created. One day in the future you'll probably need another one. When that day comes, simple update this product container with a new name.

OK, with the way PTC does things I can believe that. But thats just stupid, let someone create something thay can't delete. Good thing I only created 4.......

Yuou can't delete a lot of things in Intralink 8 / PDMLink 8. It's a bit outrageous really tonot be able to delete onbject versions because they 'have links with other things'. Rubbish. If I want to delete something I should be able to do just that. Even if it's an instance that's being used in an assembly. I'll cross that bridge when I come to opening it up (temporarily add the part number to thefamily table'on the fly' and swap it for another instance or remove it altogether.I never had any problems with Intralink 3X.

I think there is a workaround. Change the product owner to another user and then delete the user. The product should not appear.
