Data Doctor Questions thread....

I have been pushing the IGES/STEP edit definition or data doctor tools very hard this month and thought I would start this thread for my and everyone's questions.

Starting it off with:

How do you snap when moving a vertice.

I watched PTC's webcast on the subject last week. Their
suggested workflow:

1. Clean up nodes
2. Freeze all surfs
3. Add gaps to wireframe
4. Repair stitch to close gaps
5. Use troubleshooter to identify remaining problems
(geometry checks --> IDD --> settings). Check
"unsatisfied wireframe" and "gaps not added". You can
right click and add to wireframe and right click and
select specific surfaces to repair.
