cutter comp error

New member
The first 2 lines shown below are causing a cutter comp fault in a CNC machine in my shop. They are being generatedby 2 similargoto points in my cl data. Is this something I can correct in the mfg file or is this a post issue?

TIA

Your question/information is to vague.

Does the machine allow Z movement while in Cutter Comp? I do not see a G01 in block N1150. Is it in linear mode>

If you will e-mail me the .NCL, UNCX01.Fxx and UNCX01.Pxx files I will see if I can help.

Yes, the lines I have shown are G1 lines. If I delete one of the lines - the machine will run without faults. Here's the beginning of the sequence with the 2 lines at the end. Don, please check your e-mail.

Thanks

It could be that in line 1160, the tool is only moving .0001 in X and .0001 in Z. If you cutter comp value is greater than .0001, it cannot compensate for such a small move.
