I have requirement to create the BOM table with the following conditions:
If an assembly contains several manufactured parts, commercial parts and sub-assemblies, then
- the manufactured parts to have index numbers (balloon numbers) starting from 001 to 999
-the commercial parts to have index numbers (balloon numbers) starting from 1001
and
-the sub-assemblies to have index numbers starting from A01 to A99.
Currently drawings are being created in AutoCAD with a VB based add-on program to generate the BOM. Obviously, this is a non-parametric approach. How do we generate identical BOM table in Pro E which is parametric also?
