Hey

I took GeomCheck func out of Info menu and put it on toolbar in the same way as for example redraw is done. So, all was about quick access to Geomcheck

but, it happened that this menu disapeared. It is not in Info menu and not in toolbar niether.

I run Customize Screen to put it back, but no way.

I use WF 2.0. Any idea?

p.s - Yes, I searched through all saved config.win history. No success, all are saved with with this state.

I think you're stuck, unfortunately. Take a screen shot of your window setup and start over. That's a bad design in the Pro|E customize screen functionality. You can remove commands, but there's no way to get them back if you do.

You may be able to start up Pro|E with no config.win and then save the 'default' config.win file. Then try loading the 'default' config.win and your custom one and see what the results are. You may have to load the default first or yours first.

When using multiple config.win files, they are supposed to load cumulatively, but I've found the results are less than predictable. You can only experiment and see what happens.

Worse case is you start from scratch.

Start Pro/E without the config.win file by temporarily moving it out of the directory.
If you only have one config file and not multiple .## extensions, just rename the file _config.win.

Sorry dgs I read the start of your answer and assumed that you didn't answer the question. The functionality lack in WF2 has been fixed in WF3 read below for details.

When Pro/E starts save the customize screen to a settings file config_all.win so you can bring it in. In WF3 they have changed the Customize Screen functionality and I believe the commands tab shows all menu options in addition to the ones with icons.

I usually set multiple config.win files by saving to a new file not the chheck option save changes to because I believes this enters or appends duplicate info into the file causing it to grow quite large. I believe this may be a bug like when you save mapkeys and your options window shows a mapkey multiple times. Also if you have customized icons for mapkeys save the 20x20 files to a directory so you can paste them onto the

Mapkey icon to fix ones that don't load properly.

My way was ... - well, I just still wonder that it worked
smiley5.gif

As I said, I had many icons created by my own. I did not have config.win with them and GeomChceck menu, and I did not want to to lose all of my buttons. So I stuck, this you know.

I run Customize screen, then I picked default - GeomCheck appeared my buttons disappeared, then I opened last config.win and - Geomcheck was still there.

Easy nad intuitive, like Pro\E things trend to be.
