Custom Solids Programming

I am new to SolidWorks API. But have using 3d solid modeling packages for past 6 years. Also have been doing Win32 VC / VB proggies.
I would like to know whether, is it possible to create custom type of solids in solidworks using VB/VC. I don

Yes i think it is possible to do so.But you may have to use extensive coding & understanding of Geometry.
