Custom BOM baloons

I’m trying to create a custom balloon that show certain parameter in the first part of it: this would a certain number assigned to each component that conform with a specific international standard. For ex. a cap screw would be 6577. But the problem is that all the cap screws, regardless of size will show this number. In a drawing I usually have different sizes of cap screws, and now I need to identify each of them, so the balloons will show 6577.1; 6577.2 and so on. Any suggestions of how I can “count” the parts that have the same first parameter? Probably I would need a small program in the format I’m using. What I’ve done so far: I created a custom balloon with: “param_1.rpt.index” inside, but this is not quite what I actually need.

Thanks,

Dan
