Hi

i wish to convert a box type object. I herewith attached the file box_1.prt(wf2) (which is intended to create from sheet metal). The sheet metal file exm_1.prt. I tried to bend it on four sides, but i can able to bend on the any of the two opposite sides, but i unable to bend on adjacent sides, since the pro/e shows error.

The things might be a simple, but i am finding difficult, since i am new to sheet metal

. I think your problem results from choosing the bending side. If you choose outer parts for bending creation than everything will be ok. you can use "extend" to close the gap between sheetmetal walls.

Or alternatively you can add 4 flat walls to the base

hi sekar,

unfortunately i do not have any idea about making a wf3 file compatible with wf2. if someone knows, it would be nice to share it with us
