cone development angle

To find the development angle of a cone or frustrum, start a new sheetmetal part. Revolve a line, with desired thickness and keep 359.0 to 359.8 (depending on the process of fabricating the cone or frustrum) as the angle of revolution. Now unbend the completed part model with the unbend all option. After you get the development angle, measure the angle from the Measure command under the Analysis menu.
