color and appearance

Hi friends



I want to change my component surface color (Solid part) in assembly
mode (Pro/E wf-2). In apperance editor mode asm surfaces is available but if I
select the surface Not an assembly level Quilt error is appearing.





Is there any way to change the surface color in assemblymode?

Open the part and apply color to surface of the part.


In assembly mode create a surface and then apply color to it.
