I'm new to solidworks. I've worked a lot with other 3D modeling software such as 3DSMax, Maya...etc.
With Max you have the option to "Collapse the Stack" which is when you reduce a solid form down to a mesh entity based on the result of all the applied modifications (features). The downside is once coverted you cannot go back and edit any of the features.
Will Solidworks do something similar? For instance if you sweep a profile into a solid, then add various features like bends etc. Can the resulting solid then be reduced to simply a solid entity that retains dimension, bend radius info etc. but without all the features that originally generated the solid?
