When looking at the output from the CL flie i'm not seeing MULTAX/ON until the next tool.

This is because when moving to the first position the part is already at A0. Does anyone know how to add a FIL statement to insert MULTAX/ON just in front of RAPID in the CL file for the first move? This is the only problem I'm having with my post. Thanks All

Try adding this statement to the cl file: PLABEL/MODIFY,1987,TO,6,TYPE,1

This should turn multax on.

PLABEL/MODIFY,1987,TO,3,TYPE,1

This should turn multax off

Please let me know if this works.

Another way, is to create your 1st NC sequence with 4 or 5 axis for the attributes. Even though you are at A0, it will output the CL data with MULTAX.

Allen's method is probably better approach.

Once you turn MULTAX on in the post GPOST is going to be looking for

6 parameter motion records, X, Y, Z, I, J, k. So just turning multax on may

not solve your problem.
