Changing Pro's default text slant

Does anyone know if Pro's default text can be changed so tha the text slant can be pre-set?

From your drawing setup file, you can specify default_font.

To find an itallic font, modify the properties of some text to find the font you want.

Following the directions on this I am having a little trouble understanding some of the steps. I copied and renamed the 2 .src files and show, then copied the compile_font.exe to the same directory. Do younow run the .exe file? When I did, nothing happened. I think I am missing something.
