cant hide parts in ass’y...

I have a long assembly which I chose to just hide the unneccesary parts of in order to work on the opposite end of said ass'y- but I have parts, members of a sub-assembly, incidentally, that I cannot hide. I tried to hide the whole subassembly, as well as the individual components, but to no avail. any ideas? jrobi

probably a conflict with other layers,


better approach would be with simplified reps blanking the parts you don't want.

Layers and hide work differently than simplified reps. Simplified reps
do no load the model in memory, layers keeps part in memory. learn
simplified reps, its the only way to open large models.
