CANYOU FILTER ASEMBLY BALLOONS SO BALLOONS DON'T SHOW BUT IT STILL SHOWS THE ASEMBLY LINE IN THE TABLE?

PLEASE HELP!!!

THANKS

Hi Engmikeb,

Go to Table-Repeat region-select filters-select BOM inside the drawing-select filter type as By item-By default option exclude optionwill beenabled, then select the part in the BOM which you dont want to show the ballon in the drawing.

Another option is there in that restore and restore all. After excluding the part, u need to show means u use restore to select the particular part or else restore all to show all the parts which have been excluded.

Engmikeb, you can do like ankarl said(by comp orcomp & view) because I don't think there is a config option to do what you need or you could just show all the balloons and then delete the ones you don't want. This will be for parts that have geometry.

There is one situation when balloons are not shownand the part is visible in BOM, that is for parts that don't have geometry. Just create a part with no features in it and put it in your assy. This part will show in BOM but there will be no balloon for it.

Asho, you're a bit off topic

That way the balloon and also the line in BOM will be excluded, and engmikeb wants just the balloonsnot to be shown. "BUT IT STILL SHOWS THE ASEMBLY LINE IN THE TABLE?"
