BOM Equation

Can you add a column with a equation to add th SW qty column and a custom colum together? (qty + spares = total)
 
It's been a long time since I used BOMs with SW but it used to be that the BOM was used in conjunction with an Excel spreadsheet so you should be able to do what you are asking.

I am trying not to use excel. I can get it to work wiith custom columns, but not with the SW quantity column.
