Blended background option

Can someone please tell me the config.pro option to turn off the blended background option so I don't have to keep using the pull down to turn it off? Also, I am trying to make sure the config.pro is in my text folder (WF3.0) but I only see it in two places WF3.0\jlink\jlinkappls\jlink_elev and WF3.0\jlink\jlinkappls\jlink_param. How do I get the config.pro into the text directory? I can set my search paths and some of the settings I want I just don't know how to get it into the text directory. I am the only one using the machine too. I want this config file always to be loaded first. I take it my config.win should be in the text folder also? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Save your system colors with blended background off and then use the config.pro option "system_colors_file" to load your saved color settings.


To put your config.pro in the text folder - just move it there using your file manager or a command prompt.


Config.win shoud go there to if you want it to load first automatically.

Thank you very much for the answer. I did save the system colors with the blended option UNchecked and saved it to my text folder. This is where my config.pro is also. I put the option systems_colors_file path to where the colors file is which is text and STILL it leaves the background blended. Is their someother config overriding my config in text maybe? Thanks.

Right click on the desktopicon you use to start Proe and select Properties.


Look for the "Start in:" box


That is thefolder where Pro looks for the config.pro file etc


You can change it to your text folder where you have been saving all your configuration files.
Then it should load the proper config.pro

You know sometimes it really DOES help to actually PICK the file when you are browsing to the location to where the syscol file is. My bad and I'm really sorry. I was doing the correct procedure just picking the directory and not the file as well. All is well. Thank you for your patience.
