If you are just starting out, then i would start witht the largest detail or shape and work my way done the list to the smallest.



Once you have completed the model, go back and redo it in with the minimal amout of features



my 2 cents
 
We have a 3 week course that can be paid for with WIA Federal Funding. It is an intense workshop, but people come out of it with skills needed to win jobs. It is a real-world training not just here are the tools. I hate to sound like I am plugging it but we do have a huge success rate for getting people jobs. One just got a job before Christmas at Motorola.
