ball joint limitations or interference

I have a scenario in which a rod is placed inside of a shape(ie circle). The rod needs to be able to be moved in mechanism but not move out of the inside of the shape.


I curently have the rod assembled to a ball and have attached the files 2009-02-12_183913_interference.zip
