Is anyone aware of any good autorouting programs to generate solid models in any 3D CA software? These could be used for cabling, pipe layout, PCD design, architectural work etc?
I was thinking of routing a solid with a known cross section (eg rectangular) that could be routed from point A to point B which are known. But, it has to follow some rules.
I am not sure anything exists like that. With RSD you can route wires automatically. or sort of automatically. I think what your thinking about would be worth some money.
I want sketcher mode to follow rules and learn how I like to dimension. I think what your thinking about might be next generation for CAD. Might be 5 years out.
I wonder if rules could be defined with a more advanced RSD utility? Maybe with Pro/TOOLKIT?
