Assembly Cuts Show in Part Model

In Wildfire 2.0 I created an extruded cut in an assembly. Ipickedintersect parts to cut only specific parts in the assembly model. The cut is created in the assemblyand alsothe part model. Furthermore assembly cut feature shows in the model tree for the part.


Is there aconfig optionor other setting to only show the cut in the assembly and not show the assembly cut in the model tree of the part.

I see the same issue in WF1.0, although not consistently. I've been using WF for many months and am now just seeing this in the last month or so.


Anyone have any comments or solutions?

I don't remember seeing it in earlier versions (2000 or 2001) of Pro/E.

Look at the Intersect tab and see if Part Level and Show Feature Properties in Sub Models are selected.

The Intersects tab in the Extrude Feature did have "Top Level" tab marked, but you must right click on each partand make sure eachpart is individually marked "Top Level".
